DESERT
DESERT inverts the studio's central element. Instead of saturation, these works court dryness: pages bleached, edges cracked, colour burned down to bone and ochre. The book here is not drowned but parched.
DESERT is the counter-season to everything before it. The water that built the work is now its absence. Bleached by an imagined sun, these forms suggest a slower obsolescence — not the drama of the flood but the long erosion of drought, the page returning, finally, to dust.
